About this list

One page with every tester from the City of Columbus and Del-Co Water lists, so you don’t have to read a PDF in random order. Nobody pays to be here.

Sources and dates

The City’s list header says it’s updated weekly; its Consumer’s Page says typically every two weeks. We copy it when it changes. The Ohio Department of Commerce license lookup couldn’t be reached for this build, so cert dates come from the City’s credential list only.

Order and placement

The City lists testers in random order “to minimize preferential selection.” We list them A to Z. There are no ads, sponsored rows or paid rankings, and no reviews, because we have no honest way to collect them. If that ever changes, a paid spot would be labeled “Sponsored” and kept out of the main list.

How companies are combined

One person can appear under slightly different company names across lists. We combine entries that share a phone number or street address. Four combinations rest mainly on a shared phone, and the lists don’t clearly show whether they are one business or two, so we left them combined and show both names on the page:

Sewell Backflow Testing / Sewell Irrigation share a phone and a PO box too. If you know any of these are separate businesses, tell us.

Errors in the source lists we worked around

We don’t change the City’s data, but we read past these mistakes in the PDFs. Names cut off in the source are shown as printed.
